Now here is your invitation to Vegas and to the co-creation of a post civilized world... the next level of honesty and one of the best hopes for humanity and the living world...

What started out as a proposed solution to some major problems humans have cooked up has now morphed into the synthesis of these ideas into a vision for a new world based on sustainability. The main ideas are, roughly,

(1) Corporate Cannibal Cannibalism--feeding rich people to poor people--taking all they own away from them and eating them unless they give all their shit back to keep from being eaten. This is the shortest route (Too many people. Not enough food. Solution: People as food.) and best solution to the most serious of the world’s upcoming problems (global warming, peak oil and the big die-off). Since the corporate kings led us into this let’s let them lead us out by paying with their loot and their lives. There is a fair way to do this and there are many more of us (the lower economic classes currently being killed and eaten by the thousands on a daily basis) than there are of them, so let’s feast instead of famine until both protein and wealth become more evenly distributed. The little die- off of the rich will significantly decrease the big die-off of the poor. Have a corporate executive for dinner.

(2) Building a new system of justice that, for the first time in history, is actually just, based on sustainability rather than rationalized greed, theft and murder. People who seriously violate the laws of sustainability face the prospect of getting eaten or made into fertilizer within the week.

(3) Building and using a Truth Machine (not really a machine but a combination of people and machines to detect lying with 98% accuracy), to help with honest agreements and social contracts and to confirm with certainty the guilt or innocence of individuals and corporations-- making honesty the only policy you can get away with, without losing everything. Also making guilt certain, punishment immediate and weeks, months or years of appeals completely unnecessary.

(4) Inventing a new form of government based on structured deep democracy. “Community Problem Dissolving: Dialogue and Deliberation and Deep Democracy,” is the chapter title and the next level of sharing and co-creation necessary to save the future for billions of human beings and thousands of other species we are currently hell-bent on killing off. There is already proof that collective genius is a reliable resource. (People drawn at random from voter rolls or census lists, when presented with questions and problems to be solved, and expert testimony, talk in small groups and come up with answers and solutions which are more brilliant than any one of us can come up with alone.) Co-hearted co-intelligent temporary cultures of sacred listening and thinking by people without special vested interests are a viable alternative to the usual backroom manipulations of our so-called but misnamed democracy. Even people with vested interests admit this. (Take a look at The Tao of Democracy by Tom Atlee, also invited to Vegas).

(5) Creating a World Commonwealth, not of nation states, ruled by their most wealthy, but of the people in common of the world, selected in a way not determined by money. There is no homeland security until the world is our homeland. We must have a world wide commonly-held body of laws and system of justice, with term limited community problem solving groups in charge, for the supervision of world safety, commerce, travel and maintenance, and to allow for having local sustainabiility groups be the primary form of local governance. There must be global protection for local governance. We need both world laws and local laws that exist independent of Nation States. The inevitable and imminent upcoming collapse of the old money empire is our greatest chance and a big opportunity to build a post-civilized world, which could easily be a hell of an improvement with a little advance planning. When we create our vision of a post civilized world, with a few nuts and bolts that show how it could work, we will start pulling together other great visions of the same kind into a massive co-creation of a government of ongoing co-creation which is truly by the people, of the people and for the people of the world. This New Vision is the seed of the big idea.

The meeting, which I am calling, “What’s the Big Idea?” is to integrate these and other new ideas that emerge, and to figure out together how to bring an alternative future into being. I may change the book title to the meeting title, depending on what we decide in Vegas gives us the best odds. (heh heh)

I know that we are all already doing what we can to spread the truth and our awakening, such as it is. The Introduction and first chapter of the book draft you can email me and get a copy of (brad@radicalhonesty.com) are about how “doing the best we can” is simply not good enough. Something drastic has to be done. This idea of killing and utilizing people at the top of the economic hierarchy is drastic enough to get people’s attention and downright appealing as an alternative to the future we are headed into, once that future is grasped. And maybe, if we design a new way of living together for all of Us, with a little help from experts and friends, we can participate with evolution consciously and lovingly, and eventually come up with a better menu than each other.

When we write the rest of this book using co-hearted co-intelligent dialogue and deliberation we can practice what we preach and then go out and preach what we practiced. After the meetings I will edit this together, and we can use all of our names, reputations, blogs, ezines, lists and fame to get our brilliant ideas about how we can live together brilliantly put into the world to have an impact on the implacable doomsday scenario humanity now faces. Even if it doesn’t work we get to come to Vegas and design a new alternative world story to live into and out of, and have a short fine time before we die.

Between Jan 16-31 we will hold two, five day long meetings.

The first 5 day week for a group of us to gather will be January 18 through 22. I imagine a series of structured meetings, using mostly the World Cafe technology (see http://www.co-intelligence.org/P-worldcafe.html, or read The World Cafe, by Juanita Brown and David Isaacs, also invited), and a number of presentations by some of the more notable amongst us who have written books. The second week will be structured the same way (unless modified by our experience that first week) and will be January 25 through 29.  

Anyone can come to either or both meetings, and/or hang out in between as well. You are invited to the entire time or for any portion thereof. If it is any financial hardship I will buy you a Veggieburger a day or a fruit or vegetable of your choice, or maybe we’ll barbeque a God damned banker. I don't have any real money to give you, but we''ll have a bunch of writers, readers, singers and fantastic meetings and some free evenings with guitars and friends and a hell of a good time and create something that has never been before that could capture the minds and hearts of the people of the world and substitute for the shit that resides there currently.
