Join the Radical Honesty Workshop in Hamburg!
July 21-23, 2017
Based on the US best seller Radical Honesty, Master Trainer and counsellor Taber Shadburne will facilitate a Radical Honesty weekend Workshop in Hamburg.
The Workshop is for you, if you:
- want to relieve stress caused by constant worrying and thinking
- want to experience more freedom in your life
- feel stuck in your intimate relationships
- want an opportunity to be fully yourself in a supportive environment
- want to learn the art of asking for what you want
- desire to get over past hurts and experience full-body forgiveness
- yearn to create deeper love, connection, and intimacy
Radical Honesty shows you that most stress does not come from the environment, but from the self-built jail of the mind. What keeps us in our self-built jails is lying and withholding. And: “We all lie like hell,” the author of Radical Honesty Dr. Blanton says. “It wears us out…it is the major source of all human stress. It kills us.”
Radical Honesty teaches you how to get outside of your mind and into your experience. By practicing Radical Honesty, you will eventually:
- let go of shame, fear, and attachment to approval
- be completely and compassionately honest
- ask for what you want and expand your ability to both give and receive
- heal your relationships, with full body forgiveness
- create deeper love, connection & intimacy
- complete the incomplete relationships in your life

What we do in the Workshop:
The principles outlined in Radical Honesty: How to Transform Your Life by Telling the Truth, are presented in a planned experiential sequence. So the workshop gives you a series of learnings that stack on each other. We call these plays … as in a playbook for a football game.
They include lectures, directed conversations, paired exercises, small group exercises, Radical Honesty hot seat work, meditation and more. All this is geared toward having you learn and practice the distinction between noticing and thinking; the difference between interpreting and thinking about reality, and actually noticing it, through direct experience. Then you learn to share what you notice about the reality of your own experience with others, as the basis for true intimacy — learning to love ourselves and love other beings by learning to love Being, itself.
About the trainer:
Taber Shadburne (M.A.) is a facilitator of transformation, counsellor and author. For more than two decades he’s worked alongside individuals who’ve actively sought to transform their lives. An avid student and scholar of Zen, Taber has lived years at the Dharma Rain Zen Center – working with a number of spiritual teachers.
He received an M.A. in psychotherapy, and has done way more meditation retreats, professional trainings, spiritual practices, and touchy-feely personal growth workshops than is at all reasonable for any person his age. He co-authored the book The Heart of Healing: Inspired Ideas, Wisdom and Comfort from Today’s Leading Voices. He has facilitated Radical Honesty workshops and intensives for more than 15 years.
“Taber is an excellent trainer and therapist. We have been working together very closely for a long time, and he is the only person that I have certified as a Master Trainer of Radical Honesty. For 15 years he and I have been co-leading 9-day workshops and Trainer’s Trainings, and he has been leading weekend workshops all over the country.”
“I use a unique awareness-oriented & body-centered approach, bringing compassionate attention to all the messy, juicy stuff of life — emotions, relationships, communication, conflict, love & intimacy. I’ll help you connect with your own deep passion and intuitive knowing, and teach you to skillfully and open-heartedly express them, using them to create soulful connection with others, and the life of which you dream. This is what I call the art of embodying Love.”
