The Radical Honesty Institute
No Harassment Policy

The Radical Honesty Institute is committed to offering events that are as free from harassment as possible, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, race, size, religion, nationality, or social class.

We do not tolerate harassment of/by participants or facilitators/ Trainers in any form. Anyone violating these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the organizers. We reserve the right to ban individuals who violate this policy from our events temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the incident.

Knowing that happenings at Radical Honesty events could be triggering for some people, we have never claimed to provide “safe spaces”. However, the container created at a Radical Honesty workshop is akin to a “brave space” where you’re invited to challenge yourself, open up and be honest in ways you maybe never have before, be vulnerable, and empower yourself to get out of your comfort zone to see what you might learn and experience there.

Feeling unsafe because you are growing and pushing your own edges is not the same as feeling unsafe because you’re being harassed.

Harassment includes taunting, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following and failing to respect someone’s no, unwelcome photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, non-consensual physical touch.

All facilitators/Trainers at Radical Honesty events (virtual and in-person) are aware of this policy and follow it, and will report any violations to RHI. This information is shared with all participants of our events. If you have any information about violations or suggestions for upgrades, you can share them by emailing support@radicalhonesty.com or anonymously, using this form.

Please read our Anti-Racism Group Manifesto for more information about how we differentiate between honesty about judgmental thoughts and harassment and bigotry.

(Cathy Vartuli of The Intimacy Dojo inspired our interest in utilizing a No Harassment Policy, and she gave us permission to use her important statement as the template for ours. Thank you, Cathy!)
