I am Micha Küchler. And I am the first Certified Radical Honesty Trainer in Switzerland. I like writing that about me.

Beyond that, I don’t really like writing these “about me” texts. So I asked my friend and Radical Honesty Trainer colleague Kasia to write a few words about how she perceives me as a Radical Honesty Practitioner and Trainer:

“One can tell that when meeting Micha: he is a contactful, straightforward and empathetic trainer. People who work with him often report feeling safe and cared for. He has exquisite skills of cutting through the bullshit with warmth, sensitivity and humor.”

I like this. And I recognize myself in these words.

I have always wanted to make this world a better and more beautiful place. That desire drove me to engage in theater and other artistic work, to study history and philosophy, and to work in the field of progressive political campaigning. I like a lot of these things. And often, “something” was missing.

Discovering Radical Honesty in 2017 was a game changer. By sharing what I had previously labelled as “not shareable”, I connected to others in a way I had never experienced before. That gave me the courage to reveal more of my thoughts and emotions to people in my life, and by doing so, I cleaned up a lot of shit from my past. I transformed my life into something more beautiful, more true to who I really am.

For me, practicing Radical Honesty is a path of self-compassion and self-empowerment. I fell in love with this work and continuously made it into a centerpiece of how I live my everyday life. I’ve been on this journey myself for many years and I want to support those who want to walk their own adventurous path, too.

Ich bin Radical Honesty Trainer. Und zwar der erste Radical Honesty Trainer der Schweiz. (Ich mag es irgendwie, das über mich zu schreiben.)

Als 2017 Radical Honesty kennengelernt habe, war dies eine herausfordernde und ungemein befreiende Erfahrung für mich: Mich mitzuteilen, ganz einfach mich zu sein, so wie ich im Moment gerade bin. Mich weniger von Sorgen und Ängsten leiten zu lassen und von Vorstellungen darüber, wie ich sein sollte, was ich tun und lassen sollte! Ah, grossartig! (Und manchmal auch anstrengend).

Ich will anderen Menschen ermöglichen auch die Erfahrung zu machen, wie es sich anfühlen kann, achtsam mit sich selber zu sein und sich aus dieser Achtsamkeit heraus anderen Menschen zuzumuten. Denn ich finde das ganz einfach eine wunderbare Art und Weise, durchs Leben zu gehen.

Je suis formateur en Honnêteté Radicale. Plus précisément : je suis le premier formateur en Honnêteté Radicale de Suisse et un des peu nombreux formateurs menant des ateliers en français.

Lorsque j'ai découvert l'Honnêteté Radicale en 2017, cela a été une expérience à la fois stimulante et libératrice pour moi, d’être tout simplement moi-même, tel que je suis à l'instant présent. Je suis devenu bien plus conscient du grand nombre de dogmes et règles que j'avais créés pour moi-même (tu devrais être une telle personne ! tu devrais faire ceci, tu ne devrais pas faire cela! etc...) ! Et j'ai développé la capacité de moins me faire dominer par mes soucis, mes craintes et d'être - beaucoup plus souvent - simplement la personne que je suis en ce moment-là. C'est génial comme expérience ! (Et parfois aussi épuisant, j'avoue. Mais ça vaut vraiment la peine à la longue !).

Comme j’adore cette pratique, je veux soutenir le plus grand nombre possible de personnes à faire ce genre expérience : d’être plus attentif à eux-mêmes et de communiquer de manière honnête ce qui se passe. Car je trouve que c'est tout simplement une manière merveilleuse de vivre sa vie.
